The invention relates to a toilet paper roll, consisting of a continuos strip of paper (1), which is provided with transversal tear-off lines (2) and wound around a tubular core (3). The invention is characterized in that the paper strip (1) is impregnated with a liquid skin-protecting product (4) that keeps said strip moistened, thereby enabling cleaning, protection and disinfection of the skin of the user.
