PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the strength and the rigidity of mutual combining parts of side members, cross members and radiator supports in a body frame, and to allow the combining parts to adequately absorb impact force by sufficiently plastically deforming when the combining parts of the body frame is imparted with large impact force from its front side at the collision of an automobile. SOLUTION: The front part of the body frame 4 is provided with the side members 9, the cross members 11 combined with the front end parts of the respective side members 9, and the radiator supports 12 each having a lower end part combined with the corresponding front end part of the side members 9. A bead 47 swelling in the widthwise direction of the body 1 to vertically long extend is formed at the lower end part of a side wall 45 of the radiator support 12. A through hole penetrating in the widthwise direction of the body 1 is formed in the bead 47. At least one part of the bead 47 is positioned within a vertical range 49 of the upper and lower edges of the front end part of the side member 9.
