PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase starting and climbing performance on snow and ice by effectively suppressing a reduction in ground-contact area in run flat running. SOLUTION: When the internal pressure of a pneumatic safety tire 11 is lowered, a tread part 15 tends to be curved in recessed shape. When a platform 40 comprising projected parts 41 and 42 on one and the other sides thereof and having a clearance therebetween is provided in a circumferential groove 31, the platform 40 receives an axial compressive force in run flat running to collapse the clearance 43, and the projected parts 41 and 42 on one and the other sides are fitted closely to each other. Thus, the recessed curving of the tread part 15 is restricted by the support of the platform 40. |
