PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a higher cleaning effect by removing ink particles from a belt surface while avoiding marring of the belt surface due to cleaning. SOLUTION: A picture image formation device is constituted to form a picture image on a recording medium P by providing a belt conveyor 2 to carry the recording medium P by adsorbing it on a belt 20, an ink supply means 1 against the recording medium P adsorbed on the belt 20 and a collecting mechanism 6 to collect the recording medium 20 from the belt 20, a belt cleaning mechanism 5 to clean the belt 20 is provided, and the belt cleaning mechanism 5 is constituted by providing a water suction roller 51 made of an elastic porous body to roll on a belt surface and a pressurizing body 52 to pressurize the water suction roller 51 so as to squeeze out moisture from the water suction roller 51 in accordance with rolling of the water suction roller 51. |
