PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control method and a vibration control device for an elevator that keep the levelness of the floor of an elevator car unchanged even if the building itself oscillates. SOLUTION: The vibration control device for an elevator has a sub car frame 2 whose top is connected swingably in back-and-forth and side-to-side directions to the inside of a main car frame 1 via a coupler 3 with an x-axis 12 and a y-axis 11, a positioning sensor 4 arranged in the bottom center of the sub car frame, a gyro box 10 for detecting the reference vertical position of the main car frame, a controller (controller 9) for comparing a signal received from the positioning sensor with a reference vertical signal from the gyro box and sending a correction signal to actuators 7 and 8, and the actuators 8 and 7 for moving the sub car frame in an x-axis direction or a y-axis direction of the main car frame in accordance with the correction signal from the controller. |
