PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unpacking jig for a heavy weight item capable of reducing labor in unpacking work for a heavy weight item and dangerous state, simplifying the unpacking work and saving the number of workers. SOLUTION: An unpacking jig 10 is made such that a first flange segment 21 projected forwardly from an upper side of a web segment 30, a second flange segment 22 projected rearwardly, a third flange segment 23 projected forwardly from a lower side and a fourth flange 24 projected rearwardly are arranged in such a way that each of their arrangement patterns becomes different from each other. One of the first to fourth flange segments 21 to 24 that can be inserted is inserted into a clearance C between a bottom segment of an automatic vending machine 1 and an upper part of a waist pallet 2, the automatic vending machine 1 is supported by the unpacking jig and the waist pallet 2 is removed from it.
