PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch capable of effectively utilizing a circuit wiring space on a printed circuit board by optimizing the arrangement of ribs, grooves and relief holes. SOLUTION: This switch comprises a switch circuit 10 with a plurality of contacts 12 disposed in a predetermined direction on the printed circuit board 11, a plurality of switch knobs 20 arrayed at a pitch P' corresponding to the plurality of contacts and switching on/off the contacts 12, and a switch case 30 for supporting each switch knob. The rib 22 extending in the ON-OFF switching direction of the switch knobs is formed on a bottom surface of the switch knob 20. A through hole for avoiding the interference with the ribs 22 is formed on the printed circuit board 11, and a groove 32 extending in the ON-OFF switching direction of the switch knob 20 for guiding the ribs 22 of the switch knob 20 piercing the through hole 15 in the printed circuit board 11 is formed in the switch case 30. The ribs 22 of the switch knobs 20 are arranged in a centralized manner in the center of the bottom surface of the switch knob 20.
