PURPOSE: A grinding wheel operating module for a spring seat grinding machine is provided to stabilize a transferring motion by maximizing supporting and guiding areas of an operating frame and to improve the degree of precision by minimizing vibration during a grinding work. CONSTITUTION: A grinding wheel operating module of a grinding machine comprises an operating frame(330) on which a grinding wheel(345) is installed, a fixed frame(310) having an opening through which the operating frame is slidingly installed, a grinding wheel driving unit installed in the operating frame to rotate the grinding wheel, and a grinding wheel transferring unit to slide the operating frame on the fixed frame. The operating frame includes a transferring plate(332), a grinding wheel supporting member(333), a transferring nut installation member(323), and a driving motor supporting plate(331). The transferring unit includes a transferring screw(321), a transferring screw driving motor(311), a speed reducer(312) and a transferring nut(322). Herein, the operating frame is slidingly installed by penetrating through the fixed frame. Therefore, supporting and guiding areas are enlarged. Further, a transferring motion is stabilized and vibration is minimized.
