PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic money receiving machine capable of handling cash exceeding the capacity of a temporary reservation part at one money receiving transaction and adaptable for both cases of possible continuous storage and impossible continuous storage. SOLUTION: A card for a customer consists of a type of continuous storage applicable card capable of continuously storing cash and a different type of non-continuous storage applicable card not capable of continuously storing cash. In case of the continuous storage applicable card, cash is continuously reserved in the temporary reservation part during full of the temporary reservation part after storing cash in the temporary reservation part into a storage box. In case of the non-continuous storage applicable card, a clerk is called for transaction during full of the temporary reservation part. The machine capable of handling cash exceeding the capacity of the temporary reservation part at one money receiving transaction and adaptable for both cases of possible continuous storage and impossible continuous storage is obtained.
