PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position measuring apparatus capable of reckoning the position of a mobile station even if receiving the waves from two base stations. SOLUTION: When only two receiving signals can be received, a point of shortest distance from an inferred point P which is acquired from a preceding position x1 of a mobile station 31a, speed v1 and acceleration a1, which are stored in storage means, is determined as a current position x0 of the mobile station 31a out of intersections 131 of first and second sets.
