PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card cover opening and closing device that solves the problem of spatial laminations by making the device small and have multifunction and that has a simple structure for a mechanism for insertion and ejection of memory card used frequently in a variety of electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A card cover 1 is movable between a first position wherein a hole portion 1a cut in the card cover 1 is fitted with a jaw portion 2a on a knob 2, a second position wherein the card cover 1 is moved from the first position in the same direction as the direction of insertion of a memory card 7, and a third position wherein the card cover 1 is moved from the second position in the same direction as the direction of insertion of the memory card 7, so that the memory card 7 is made easily ejectable without projection of the card cover 1 from the equipment and without the disposition of an excess push button and the like. |
