PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a main magnetic pole in peak magnetic flux density to be higher in a magnet roller, composed of a support shaft and a plurality of magnets fixed to the support shaft. SOLUTION: A first main magnet pole 5 is formed into a chevron-shape and is magnetized in parallel with its lateral sloping sides. The directions of magnetization of a second main magnetic pole 8 and a third magnetic pole 10 are so set as to form nearly a right angle with the symmetrically axis of the first main magnetic pole 5.
