The probe temperature (Ts) is determined from a curve that relates the temperature and the internal resistance (Ri) of the probe. A correction voltage (Ks) is determined from the curve that relates the temperature and the actual probe voltage (Us). An adder (22) adds the correction voltage and the actual voltage and outputs the temperature compensated probe signal.
