PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for an optical fiber cable which is small in its outside dimension and is easily assembled and maintained inexpensively. SOLUTION: Coated fibers 13, which are drawn out of an optical fiber cable 11 and are connected to an external fiber 12, are accommodated in a casing body 17 by being wound after being housed in grooves 15 of a connecting part housing sheet 16 together with the connecting part 14. Thus, the outside dimension is reduced, and assembling or maintenance work is easily performed inexpensively.
