PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining a plurality of tubular bodies having different diameters mutually without welding them. SOLUTION: A tubular body 5 having a small diameter is inserted into a tubular body 4 provided with a through hole 10 and having a large diameter, and a small diameter part 12 of a stepped pin 11 like steps is inserted into the through hole 10. By pressing the stepped pin 11 by a pressing-in means 14 composed of a hydraulic jack, the small diameter part 12 of the stepped pin 11 is pressed in the tubular body 5 having the small diameter, and its large diameter part 13 is pressed in the tubular body 4 having the large diameter by expanding the through hole 10 to join two tubular bodies mutually.
