PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment device and the method of heat treatment which are capable of improving a total energy efficiency compared with a conventional device without increasing cost for installation. SOLUTION: A preheating zone 11, a heating zone 12 and a gas turbine 2 for power supply are provided. A surface combustion burner 3 is arranged in the preheating zone 11. The surface combustion burner 3 is provided with an outer tube 31, an inner tube 33 and a porous middle tube 32. The burner 3 has a fuel gas 6 introduced between the outer tube 31 and the middle tube 32 to be injected 6 to the inner surface of the same through the middle tube 32, and the combustion air 7 is introduced between the middle tube 32 and the inner tube 33 to generate a flame on the inner surface of the middle tube 32. A turbine exhaust pipe 27 for discharging the exhaust gas 8 of the turbine discharged out of the gas turbine 2 for power supply is connected to an air supply tube 36 for supplying the combustion air to the surface combustion burner 3. |
