SEALING MATERIAL FOR DOUBLE GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for double glass having improved temperature-dependence of structural strength and increased adhesion to substrate while keeping the moisture shielding property of hot-melt butyl rubber and suitably usable as a sealing material for the primary sealing of a dual seal or a single seal of double glass. SOLUTION: The sealing material for double glass contains (A) a silyl- containing ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene random copolymer rubber containing a hydrolyzable silyl group having a specific structure in the molecule, (B) a hot-melt resin, (C) a curing catalyst and (D) water or a metal salt hydrate.
