PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus only comprising a corrugated fiberboard without using an expanded polystyrene, relating to a cushion material for a cooker. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus for an electric cooker includes a parallelopiped outer packaging box 1 made of a corrugated fiberboard having flaps respectively on four sides of an upper opening, a bottom pad 2 made of a single piece of the corrugated fiberboard for holding a lower portion of a cooker body G inside the packaging box 1, a first top pad 3 for holding an upper portion of the cooker body G, a U-shaped front pad 4 connected from a base to a top face of the box 1 on front and both lateral sides of the body G, and a U-shaped rear pad 5 connected from the base to the top face of the box 1 on rear and both lateral sides of the cooker body.
