METHOD OF REACTION USING HETEROGENEOUS CATALYST AND REACTION UNIT THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To surely and efficiently perform the separation of a heterogeneous catalyst and a reaction liquid in conducting a liquid phase reaction using the heterogeneous catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The objective method for conducting a liquid phase reaction using a heterogeneous catalyst particles 30 in a reaction vessel 10 comprises (a) a step wherein a reaction liquid 40 fed via a feed port 12 or the like into the reaction vessel 10 is reacted in the presence of the heterogeneous catalyst particles 30 and (b) the subsequent step wherein the reaction liquid 40 after reaction containing the heterogeneous catalyst particles 30 is passed through a linear screen 20 having a gap width substantially impassable for the heterogeneous catalyst particles 30 and the resulting reaction liquid 40 thus separated from the heterogeneous catalyst particles 30 is drawn out of the reaction vessel 10 via an extraction port 14 or the like.
