PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely measuring a dynamic load applied to a vehicle wheel by innovating a conventional problem that the dynamic characteristic of the vehicle wheel cannot have been obtained precisely, because its calculation data from stroke of shock absorber not always gives an accurate result. SOLUTION: A washer-shaped strain sensor 10, generating output expressing receiving load, is arranged between the body frame of a vehicle and a tire. The washer-shaped strain sensor 10 is used during the running of the vehicle, to measure the dynamic load acting on the tire. The horizontal force of the tire, the coefficient thereof, the slip angle of the tire and the steering characteristics thereof are calculated from the measured dynamic load, to calculate the cornering characteristics of the tire of an actual vehicle.
