PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet mechanism with convenience, allowing water supply from a faucet for the water supply to a washing machine to be utilized even during washing and permitting water to be easily supplied even in the case of the installation of e.g. a rather tall polyethylene bucket within the counter of a wash stand. SOLUTION: A branch faucet 9, installed in a communicating channel communicating with the washing machine 1 from a water supply port part 3, is made to communicate with a temporary faucet 18 through a flexible pipe 21 and provided with a branch handle 13 for allowing the water delivered to the temporary faucet 18 to be passed/stopped while permitting the water to continue to be supplied from the port part 3 to the washing machine 1. Furthermore, the temporary faucet 9 is constituted so as to be able to be installed an arbitrary mounting position, and the temporary faucet 18 is constituted in such a manner as to enable a height position to be adjusted in the above mounting position.
