摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device by which the cell gap is made uniform and the display quality can be improved. SOLUTION: A spacer 21 having specified particle size distribution and adhesive particles 24 having a specified average particle size larger than the average particle size of the spacer 21 and having specified particle size distribution are sprayed with the respective spray densities on the surface of a substrate 11. Then the substrate 11 and a counter substrate 12 are laminated with a sealing material 14A not hardened to form a liquid crystal cell 10A. Then after the liquid crystal cell 10A is pressed externally on the outside of the substrate 11 and the counter substrate 12, or while the liquid crystal cell 10A is externally pressed on the substrate 11 and the counter substrate 12, the liquid crystal cell 10A is heated to specified temperature and then cooled to normal temperature so that the height of the adhesive particles 24 is rendered almost equal to the diameter of the spacer 21 and that the substrate 11 and the counter substrate are fixed adherently by the adhesive particles 24.
