<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for use in the repairing works capable of repairing a flaw hole generated in a resin pipe member quickly and simply while the sealing workmanship is well maintained. SOLUTION: The joint for use in the repairing works to repair the flaw hole 4 formed in the resin pipe member 2 is equipped with a pair of half-split fitting bodies 22 made of resin having approximately semi-circular section and installed in such a way as enclosing the periphery of the resin pipe member, a seal member 28 provided along the circumferential edge of the inner surface of each fitting body, and end heating means 30 for hot fusion welding installed at the ends of the inner surface of each fitting body. Thereby the flaw hole generated in the resin pipe member can be repaired quickly and simply while the sealing workmanship is well maintained.</p> |
