摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct a thermal displacement by suppressing the effect by a ripple with a refrigerant temperature in a machine tool having a cooler for cooling a heating part. SOLUTION: In a gantry machining center, the inlet temperature and outlet temperatures of the refrigerant flowing in and out of a main spindle attachment are measured, and the measured temperature values are recorded. A variation in measured temperature values in rising direction is checked to judge the variation frequency of the refrigerant temperature. The average values of the inlet temperature and outlet temperature of the refrigerant measured during the frequency is calculated, and the temperature rise value of the refrigerant is calculated from the differences between the averaged values. Based on the temperature rise values, the amount of thermal displacement of a main spindle is calculated by estimate, and the amount of correction corresponding to the estimated value is output to a NC device to correct the feeding amount of a moving body at each part of the machining center.
