PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box forming apparatus capable of reducing a processing process in a corrugated cardboard maker, capable of safely transporting a box forming material and capable of forming an accurate box. SOLUTION: A blank S1 is fed to a flat box forming unit B from a paper feed unit A, and the end surface panels and side surface panels connected to both ends of two panels of the intermediate part of the blank S1 are bent by about 180 deg.C at the time of stop of the feed of the blank S1 in the flat box forming unit B and mutually overlapped end parts are bonded to form a flat box body. This flat box body is sent to a square box forming unit C and the body part of a box is formed into a square cylindrical shape from the flat box body and a plurality of the flaps connected to one side of this body part are inwardly bent by 90 deg. to form a part becoming the bottom wall of the box to form the square-shaped box. |
