PURPOSE: A method for treatment diseases related to angiogenesis by use of angiogenesis inhibitors containing ticlopidine as an effective component is provided. Whereby, the composition can be used as a treating agent for diseases caused by angiogenesis such as hemangioma, hemangiofibroma, arthritis, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of a premature baby, glaucoma caused by angiogenesis, corneal disease caused by angiogenesis or the like. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for inhibition of angiogenesis contains 5-£(2-chlorophenyl)methyl|-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno£3,2-c|pyridine or hydrochlorate thereof as an effective component and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The composition can be used as an anticancer agent or a metastasis inhibitor and is orally administered at a daily dose of 5 to 800mg.
