PURPOSE: A flux cored wire for welding niobium-stabilized stainless steel is provided to optimize the addition amount of deoxidizer over niobium content of the flux cored wire, thereby effectively controlling slag explosion. CONSTITUTION: The flux cored wire is characterized in that the flux is composed of Ni 0.1-3.0wt.%, Cr 2.5-8.0wt.%, Nb 0.3-0.6wt.%, Al+Ti+Si+Mg+Na+K 1.0-2.0wt.%, TiO2 2.0-10wt.%, SiO2 0.5-2.5wt.%, Al2O3 0.1-1.0wt.%, ZrO2 0.1-1.0wt.%, K2O 0.05-0.25wt.%, Na2O 0.01-0.20wt.%, NaF 0.01-0.5wt.%, the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, wherein Nb/(Al+Ti+Si+Mg+Na+K) is regulated below 0.30.
