PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for removing an asbestos pipe being a bath heater combustion exhaust pipe buried in the building frame before breakup work of the whole multiple dwelling houses built in olden years. SOLUTION: Compartments being a closed space cut off from the atmosphere and also serving as a work section are vertically arranged in a rooftop opening part and a lower bathroom opening part of this buried asbestos pipe including the asbestos pipe, and after putting the closed space under negative pressure more than atmospheric pressure by operation of a negative pressure dust collector with a hepafilter placed in the lower compartment, a tip tool composed of a motor, a universal joint, a tool holder and a tool is inserted from the rooftop asbestos pipe opening part, and is operated, and the buried asbestos pipe is removed.
