PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize dead water when the temperature of hot water or water retained in supply pipes among a header and each mixing faucet drops and hot water or water is changed into dead water. SOLUTION: In the header piping system having the header 7 for hot water distributing hot water fed from a hot-water supply source to a plurality of hot-water supply pipes 8, 8a and 8b, the header 3 for water distributing water fed from a water supply source to a plurality of water supply pipes 4, 4a and 4b and the mixing faucets 24, 24a and 24b being installed to a kitchen 21, a toilet 22, a bathroom 23 or the like respectively and mixing and discharging hot water and water fed from the hot-water supply pipes 8, 8a and 8b and the water supply pipes 4, 4a and 4b, branch pipes 9, 9a and 9b capable of branching a path for hot water into pipings 10, 10a and 10b for dead water are mounted on each hot-water supply pipe 8, 8a and 8b or the water supply pipes 4, 4a and 4b, and a tank 18 for storing water utilized for the toilet, a washing machine or the like is supplied with dead water at a low temperature passed through the pipings 10, 10a and 10b for dead water.
