PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous pigment set used for ink jet and capable of giving images having excellent gloss, images not having a rough feeling, and images having excellent abrasion resistance, and to provide a method for ink jet recording using the pigment ink. SOLUTION: This water-based pigment ink set used for ink jet and using two different ink compositions having the same color but having different colorant concentrations, characterized in that the two ink compositions have a pigment and thermoplastic resin particles, respectively, in an aqueous medium. |
