PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having a structure capable of arranging sufficient number of turns without adverse effects of magnetic saturation and avoiding upsizing thereof. SOLUTION: Respective steel sheets, forming a laminated body 10b for a stator core 10, of which outer-periphery edge section is bent aslant in an axial direction, so the radial length of the stator core 10 can be reduced while maintaining its quality. Thus, a motor can be downsized while maintaining its output quality by decreasing the outside diameter of the stator core 10. Where the outside diameter of the stator core 10 is provided with a fixed value, the outside diameter of a rotor core 50 can be increased by the amount of increase in the inside diameter of the stator core 10 as compared with the conventional cases, thereby improving the output torque quality of the motor without causing upsizing.
