PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor ventilating device capable of promoting the ascent of the cold air by feeding a sufficient quantity of the outside air to the bottom section in an underfloor space, suppressing the occurrence of noise, and closing an underfloor ventilating hole in winter with a high degree of closure. SOLUTION: This underfloor ventilating device is provided with a wing 61 capable of closing the underfloor ventilating hole, and spindles 65 are protruded on both side faces of the wing 61 near the center of gravity G of the wing 61 and nearer to the underfloor ventilating hole than to the center of gravity G. The device is provided with spindle holding grooves 53 holding the spindles 65 rotatably and horizontally movably, stoppers 56 regulating the rotation quantities in the opening direction of the wings 61 within the angle range capable of guiding the outside air to the bottom section of the underfloor space, and lock means capable of positioning and holding the wings at the positions for closing the underfloor ventilating hole and capable of releasing the positioning and holding.
