PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tacky agent composition capable of an imparting excellent stress relaxing property even without adding plasticizer, and further capable of suppressing the deterioration both of an easily hydrolyzable material by hydrolysis and of the tacky agent when applied, and a tacky optical member using the composition. SOLUTION: The tacky agent composition comprises (A) singly a (meth) acrylic ester-based copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000-2,500,000 or (A') a mixture of the (meth)acrylic ester-based copolymer with a (meth)acrylic ester-based oligomer having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000 at a weight ratio of (100:5) to (100:100), (B) a crosslinking agent, (C) a radical trapper and optionally (D) a secondary antioxidant. The tacky optical member is obtained by forming a layer consisting of the above tacky agent composition on at least one side of an optical member.
