PURPOSE: A device for generating water current in a washer is provided to generate water current by pulsator or an agitator, to improve washing efficiency and to prevent damage of laundry. CONSTITUTION: A water current generator of a washer comprises a housing(1) forming an outer body; a water tank(20) storing washing water; a rotating tub(30) contains water current generator(60) by being rotationally mounted in the water tank; a driving device(40) driving the water current generator and the water tank; an upper cover(11) combined to the housing; a cover(12) formed on the upper over; a control button(13) mounted on a front side of the upper cover; a water supply valve(15) controlling inlet water through a water supply pipe(14); a detergent inserting device(16) storing a detergent; a suspension device(21) hanging the water tank in the housing; a motor(41) transferring power into a clutch(42) by being mounted on a driving device(40); a belt(43) engaging the motor and the clutch; a rotational shaft(44); and a drain hose(50) discharging washing water out of the housing by having a drain valve(51). |
