PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device adaptive to speeding-up of access by preventing resonance due to vibration transmitted from a lens holder, and improving the support accuracy of the lens holder. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is constituted by forming a supporting shaft 2 for supporting and guiding the lens holder 6 with a ceramic or single crystal alumina having a rigidity ratio of 96×106 m2/s2 or more. |
