PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for decreasing a frequency offset in a radio receiver in general, and especially a receiver that employs a channel estimate unit 514 to correct a base-band signal. SOLUTION: The purpose of this invention in attained by monitoring a phase 541 of a channel estimate output, so as to generate a complex phaser on the basis of consecutive phases. In order to compensate a frequency offset, a multiplier 550 multiplies the generated complex phaser with a received base-band signal. The frequency compensation can cause feedback compensation or feedforward compensation to occur before or after the channel estimate. The feedback compensation is executed by compensating the base-band signal, before or after the releasing the spread. |
