PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information unit that can relieve a load of a call center side and easily identify residents of a multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: The information unit is provided with a terminal means T that is placed between a telephone set 2 of a resident and a call center 17, confirms the presence of the resident in response to dial processing of the resident and informs the call center 17 about it. The terminal means T confirms the presence of an inquired resident in response to an inquiry of other resident to the call center and the terminal means T informs the cell center 17 about the presence after the confirmation processing.
