PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder and an image reproducer for recording and reproducing images continuously using a removable memory of low recording capacity as a recording medium. SOLUTION: Removable memories 51, 52 each having a unique memory ID are set simultaneously in the slots 41, 42 of an image recorder 1. An image input signal 61 from an image input section 11 is converted, at a recording signal processing section 12, into image data of a specified format and written in any one of the removable memories 51, 52 selected at a recording control section 10. When one removable memory is fully written with the image data, the memory ID of the other removable memory is written in as the link information of that removable memory and the memory for writing in the image data is switched. An image reproducer reproduces the recorded image data in correct order using the memory ID thus written in. |
