The multi-slip index consists of file-indexes possessing index-symbols, and a quantity of single index-slips possessing index-symbols. The index slips form a complete file-index possessing index-symbols. Index-slips belonging to the documents being filed are entered on the position on the edge of the document. The index symbols for each document are visible by the slip part not possessing an index symbol and the slip covering the index symbols underneath being made of transparent material.
