The present invention provides a sinus transilluminator which does not occupy a large space, the diagnosis time is reduced with, and complicated diagnosis procedures can be simplified with. The sinus transilluminator includes a diagnosis lamp, a casing having the lamp installed therein and defining a darkroom when a patient puts his/her face thereinto, and a monitor connected to the casing for monitoring a state of the patient to be diagnosed. When the patient puts his/her face into the casing through an open end surface thereof and holds the diagnosis lamp, which is installed within the casing, in his/her mouth, the state of the patient can be diagnosed by monitoring the light emitted from the lamp and transilluminated through the face of the patient within the casing defining a darkroom. |
