A voice-activated attachment control device (1) for a construction machine (80) is provided. The voice-activated attachment control device (1) comprises voice analysis means (1a) for analyzing voice commands for instructing an attachment (401) by a voice, voice identification means (1b) connected to the voice analysis means (1a) for identifying voice commands, machine control means (1c) connected to the voice identification means (1b) for controlling the attachment (401) based on commands, voice synthesis means (1d) for informing the operator of a machine (80) about the state of the attachment (401). The voice-activated control, including the start, stop and speed control, of the attachment (401) improves the safety of workers.
