<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stoker furnace and method for incineration therewith, in which generation of unburned gas can be reduced by using oxygen or oxygen- enriched air of an improved combustibility as an oxydizer, and attain a rapid and high-temperature combustion in a main combustion chamber. SOLUTION: In the stoker furnace, a supply means 12 supplies oxygen or oxygen-enriched air to matters to be incinerated in a specified location on the grate 30 from above the grate 30.
