COLUMN CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column connection structure capable of easily performing a high lift operation while suspending upper and lower columns by a crane and firmly connecting the upper and lower columns to each other with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A projected part 3 having lower vertical pieces 2 crossing each other in cross shape is projected upward from the upper end face part of a lower column 1. A lower connection plate 4 is installed on the upper end part of the projected part 3. A bolt insert prepared hole 5 is formed in the lower connection plate 4. A suspended part 8 having upper vertical pieces 7 crossing each other in cross shape is suspended downwardly from the lower end surface part of an upper column 6. An upper connection plate 9 is installed on the lower end part of the suspended part 8. A bolt insert hole 10 is formed in the upper connection plate 9. The upper connection plate 9 and lower connection plate 4 are stacked each other in vertical direction. A nut 12 is screwed into a bolt inserted into the bolt insert prepared hole 5 from the bolt insert hole 10. The vertical length of the upper vertical piece 7 is made slightly longer than that of the bolt 11. The vertical length of the lower vertical piece 7 is increased longer than that of the upper vertical piece 7 to form a fastener insert space 14 of the portion of the lower connection plate 4 surrounded by the adjacent lower vertical piece 2.
