摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an enhancement of starting capability at the time of cold starting, a reduction of fuel consumption and an enhancement of exhaust emission by reducing a fuel amount deposited on a wall surface, enhancing an ignition property of mixed air and stabilizing a combustion by providing a technology that a heat accumulated by a heat accumulation container is efficiently and rapidly transmitted to an internal combustion engine in the case where the internal combustion engine is started at cold. SOLUTION: In the internal combustion engine having a heat accumulation device related to the present invention, a flowing out of a high temperature heating medium from a thermal medium flowing passage and a flowing-in of a low temperature thermal medium to the heating medium flowing passage are prevented by stopping a feed of the heating medium from the heat accumulation container to the heating medium flowing passage at the time when the high temperature heating medium in the heat accumulation container is filled in the heating medium flowing passage of the internal combustion engine at the time of starting the internal combustion engine or immediately before the starting. A temperature of the internal combustion engine is efficiently and rapidly raised.
