PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the distortion of a structure body by maintaining a uniform rigidity in every direction on the base plate of the structure body, maintaining the flatness of the base plate, to prevent the deterioration of image quality, and also, to prevent the occurrence of a noise, as to an image forming device and the structure body. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device with the structure body 25 for keeping the rigidity and for recording on a recording medium by various devices which are supported by the structure body 25, projection parts 30a, 30b, 31a to 31d and 32 are formed on the base plate 26 of the structure body 25 at random so that the whole surfaces may become uniform. Besides, the structure body of the image forming device is provided with the base plate 26 on which the projection parts 30a, 30b, 31a to 31d and 32 are formed at random so that the whole surfaces may be uniform, side plates 27A and 27B erected on the base plate 26 so as to face each other, and a connecting member 28 for connecting between the side plates 27A and 27B.
