PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel forming jig which enables accurately keeping parallelism between an original plate and an object including a photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The parallel forming jig 10 is disposed between the original plate 15 and the object 20 including the hologram photosensitive material 18. The parallel forming jig 10 comprises a supporting plate 11 and three pieces of ceramic balls 12a, 12b and 12c incorporated in the supporting plate 11. The ceramic balls 12a, 12b and 12c have the same shape, are respectively abutted on the original plate 15 and the object 20 and, thereby, the parallelism between the original plate 15 and the object 20 is accurately maintained.
