PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a fixing device which can reduce a load on a fixing belt and widen a heating area although the constitution is simple. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a fixing device characterized by that a couple of rotatable pressure roll which are arranged opposite each other across a rotatable endless fixing belt are pressed into contact with each other across the fixing belt during fixation processing and also equipped with a mechanism which moves at least one of a couple of support rolls supporting the fixing belt associatively with the contacting/leaving operation of at least one of the pressure rolls.
