PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener for a throwaway diaper capable of viewing a marking in a landing zone after applying the fastener and easy to view even on a release tape or the landing zone, and the throwaway diaper using the same. SOLUTION: The fastener 8 is used for a fastening system for the throwaway diaper having the fastener 8 combined with the landing zone 7 where the fastener 8 is applied. A portion which has a concealing rate of 60% or less and either an (a) value or a (b) value for a color difference of -4 or less or +4 or more is formed on at least part of the fastener 8.
