DEODORIZING FILTER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter which can keep excellent initial deodorizing performance through a long period by making catalyst operation sufficient without degrading the initial performance of an absorbent, and a method for manufacturing the filter like this. SOLUTION: In the deodorizing filter of three-layer lamination structure consisting of a holding nonwoven fabric 2 including the absorbent 5 held by a binder and dust-preventing nonwoven fabrics 3 and 4 between which this holding nonwoven fabric is supported on both sides of it, the catalyst for treating absorbed gas is carried on a part except the absorbent, such as the binder.
