PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and suitably hold and convey a spectacle lens and mount a lens holder. SOLUTION: A frame 31 is provided with four vertically movable sucking means 35 and sensors 43, and extension coil springs 40 energize the sucking means 35 downward. The frame 31 is lifted down to press the sucking means 35 onto a convex a of a lens 2. When heights of sucked positions of the convex an are different from each other, pressed timings of the sucking means 35 onto the lens 2 are different. When the top sucking means 35 is pressed onto the lens 2, the sensors 43 of the sucking means 35 detect the pressing. When a control part confirms a detection signal, the frame 31 is further lifted down by a predetermined distance to press all sucking means 35 onto the convex a of the lens 2. Thus, when all sensors 43 detect the pressing, all sucking means 35 are evacuated to suck and hold the lens 2, and then the frame 31 is lifted up.
